Now that the legal bird nesting season is over, Stratton Parish Council is arranging with its Grounds Contractor to carry out works on the hedges and trees around the Village Green.

The works are to tidy and reduce the overall height of the vegetation to the specification in the contact held by the Parish Council.

These works are expected to take place during the week commencing Monday 15 August. The days that work occurs are, however, dependent on the weather.

It is hoped there will be no inconvenience to residents but there may be some temporary disruption as equipment is moved or branches etc. are in the road. Some areas may have traffic cones in place to provide the workmen with a safe working environment.
