After some years, Stratton Parish Council has been successful in leasing land from The Wrackleford Estate for the use of parishioners as allotments.
The land is 0.544 hectares in size and situated on the far side of the A37 at the Dorchester end of the village. To comply with the terms of the lease, Stratton Parish Council has sub-let the land to the Stratton (Dorset) Allotment Society on a non-profit making basis and it is the allotment society that will administer all aspects of the allotment site
