It is with great disappointment, that the Parish Council advises residents that an act of vandalism has already occurred on the new adventure play area apparatus which was only installed about two weeks ago.
The new equipment was put up to allow all children to have enjoyment and fun, Equipment that was paid for and installed as the result of a great amount of effort by a considerable number of people, especially residents, parents and children in the village and it is totally abhorrent that a person or persons, presently unknown, have damaged it.
The Parish Council will take all appropriate steps to find out who caused the damage.
If any person in the village has seen anyone acting strangely or suspiciously near the new equipment, or if any child or parent has heard of any comments about someone seen to be causing damage, would they please pass on the information to the Parish Clerk via the Parish Council’s website, www.strattondorset.org, by email to strattonpc@gmail.com or on Stratton Parish Council’s Facebook page.
