It is with much sadness and deep regret that Stratton Parish Council learned of the death last Sunday of our parish clerk, Mr Keith Hawkins.
Everyone on the Council sends their heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Keith’s family, especially to Keith’s wife, Kathy.
Keith had already given notice that he would be leaving his post at the end of the financial year, 31st March 2017, and it is very sad that his particular wish to leave the Council, with the year’s end business satisfactorily concluded, has eluded him.
Keith has been parish clerk for the past six years and his fund of knowledge and experience in council matters will be very much missed.
