Recently, Stratton Parish Council met with Dorset Police to discuss reports of anti-social behaviour on the Playing Field and through the village during the evening of Monday 17th and the early morning of Tuesday 18th August.

Other allegations which had also been made were discussed and investigated as far as it was possible to do so. Certainly, in respect of alleged vandalism to play equipment on the playing field no evidence was found of any damage being caused on the dates in question.

The damage caused to the zip wire seat was from an earlier time and will be discussed at the next Parish Council meeting. Potential security measures to identify both the pet(s) and persons responsible for them biting and damaging the seat will also be considered.
