The Stratton Parish Council Grants Panel have now met and have agreed the number and value of grants the Parish Council will make this year through powers under Section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972.
The allocation is as follows:-
- Royal British Legion – £20.00.
- St John’s Ambulance – £25.00.
- Stratton Children’s Christmas Party – £120.00.
- Stratton Village Website – £35.00.
- Stratton Youth Club – £120.00.
- The Chalk Stream – £60.
A small balance of £40.00 will be held back at this moment in time, in case a further deserving cause comes along during the remainder of this financial year.
It is expected that these grants will be paid out very shortly.
