Stratton Parish Council has been advised that Dorset County Highways have an emergency job to attend to along A37 Stratton Bypass, Stratton under the railway bridge heading westbound.

The road surface is collapsing due to water ingress and needs urgent attention.  For safety reasons there will be a lane closure on A37 Dorchester Road between Ash Hill, Stratton and Dorchester Road, Stratton.  Traffic will use the northern lane and be managed by temporary signals.  This will allow for full assessment to be carried out by engineers before a reinstatement can take place.
