Stratton Parish Council has commissioned a new replacement fence at the eastern end of the playing field, adjacent to the footpath, which has now been erected. The contractors had some difficulty replacing the fence owing to the amount of tree roots and overspill from the path. The signage regarding dog fouling which had to be removed for the work to take place has also been reinstated.
