For this year only, Stratton Parish Council has increased to £600 the sum for the awarding of grants under Section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972. The following are the criteria which applications for grant support will be assessed:-

Stratton Parish Council has been advised that the resurfacing of A37 around Charminster has been postponed until Tuesday 3rd July between 9.30am and 4pm. The high temperatures have meant it has not been possible to premium surface dress the road.
29th June 2018 – Traffic Disruption in Stratton Village
From 9th July there will be disruption to traffic at the Yeovil end of the village. In order to connect the new housing development to mains drainage the contractors will need to dig up Dorchester Road from the site down
