Villagers should be aware that Kevin Kirk, the contractor who has carried out such good work over the past two years in restoring the village green to such a good condition, has had an accident and broken an ankle that has required surgery. The Parish Council wishes Kevin a speedy recovery and hope that it is not too long before he is back in the seat of his mower. In the meantime villagers may find the grass on the green a little longer and thicker.
